These terms apply when you purchase a DARA license. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, the License Agreement, and the terms shown at checkout. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you buy for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it.
Seller and transaction provider
DARA Audio LLC, 2108 N ST #13489, Sacramento, CA, 95816, United States, sells and licenses DARA. Before you pay, checkout will identify the payment provider and any separate merchant of record, show the final price and tax, and provide its transaction terms.
DARA Audio's terms govern the product and license. The terms presented by the transaction provider govern its payment services. Purchase and license support: support@daraaudio.com.
Product and license
- License, not ownership. Buying DARA gives you a perpetual license to use the software; it does not transfer ownership of DARA. The license does not expire, subject to the License Agreement.
- Devices. Use DARA on up to two devices at a time. The License Agreement defines activation and transfer limits.
- Use. Personal and commercial use is allowed. An organization may let its personnel use DARA on that organization's licensed devices and is responsible for their compliance.
- Updates. The purchase includes updates we make available for this license at no extra charge. It does not promise any particular update, feature, support period, or compatibility with future systems.

Price, tax, and order
- Price. $9.99 USD. One-time payment. The final price, currency, and applicable taxes are shown before payment.
- Review. Check the product, price, currency, tax, email address, and final total before submitting the order.
- Confirmation. An order is complete when the payment provider confirms it. If payment is declined or the transaction cannot be completed, no license is issued.
Digital delivery and activation
The license key is shown on the confirmation page for 24 hours and sent to the email address entered at checkout. You are responsible for entering an address you can access and keeping the key private. Activate DARA in Settings → License. Internet access is needed for purchase, activation, device management, and updates; core mixing works offline after activation.
The Digital Delivery Terms explain when and how the key is delivered and what to do if it does not arrive. Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK should also read the Right of Withdrawal before requesting immediate delivery.
Refunds and transaction help
DARA Audio provides a 14-day, no-reason refund guarantee described in the Refund Policy. The transaction provider may provide additional remedies under its own policy. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable rights under applicable consumer law.
Effect of refunds and reversals
If a purchase is refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed, the related license key will be deactivated when the reversal is processed. An offline installation receives that status the next time it contacts the license service or accepts a trusted license update. This does not limit chargeback or dispute rights provided by law or your payment provider.
Product availability
DARA is offered only where we and the transaction provider support the purchase. We may stop selling DARA or offering it in a location. This does not shorten a license already purchased, but continued operation may depend on compatible hardware, Windows, drivers, and third-party software.
Lawful use and export
You may not purchase, use, or export DARA in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws. You are responsible for laws that apply to your use, recordings, streams, plugins, and other content.
Electronic records
You agree that transaction confirmations, receipts, license delivery, and notices about the purchase may be provided electronically to the email address entered at checkout. Keep a copy of these terms and your receipt.
How these documents fit together
The checkout terms control payment processing, transaction tax, and provider-administered remedies. The Refund Policy controls DARA Audio's refund guarantee. The License Agreement controls installation and use of DARA. These Terms of Sale control the remaining parts of the purchase. Applicable law controls wherever it cannot be waived.
Changes
The Terms of Sale in effect when you place an order govern that sale. We may revise these terms for future orders by posting a new effective date. A revised License Agreement applies to an existing license only when you accept it or when applicable law permits the change.
Governing law
California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California have jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere or requires another law or forum.
General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These terms and the documents incorporated above are the agreement about the purchase and replace earlier statements about it.
