Frequently asked questions.
Does this replace my audio interface?
No. DARA sits between your programs and whatever hardware you already have. It presents virtual devices to Windows and sends the finished mix to your real output.
Do I need to reconfigure every app?
Only the ones you want on their own channel. Anything left alone keeps playing through the system channel.
Can OBS or a meeting app record a DARA bus?
Yes. DARA presents virtual recording devices, so another program can select a finished bus as its microphone or recording input.
Is there a trial?
No. Use the browser demo to explore the real product interface before buying.
Will my own plugins load in it?
DARA can host compatible VST3 and CLAP plugins as channel effects, or as instruments on a MIDI channel. Compatibility can vary by plugin.
