DARA is delivered electronically. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped.
What you receive
Your purchase provides one license key and access to the DARA installer for Windows. The key activates DARA on your computer. It is a lifetime license for the version line you bought: it does not expire, does not renew, and is not a subscription.
One license runs DARA on two computers at a time. You can move the license between your own machines; moving it deactivates DARA on the machine you move it from. Activation and device limits are described in the License Agreement.
When you receive it
Immediately. The key is issued as soon as the payment provider confirms your payment, and is shown to you on the confirmation page and sent to the email address used at checkout. If the confirmation page is closed before you save the key, it can be retrieved from the link in that email for 24 hours.
Because delivery is immediate, please read the right of withdrawal before you buy. Consenting to immediate delivery ends the statutory withdrawal period for buyers who have one. It does not affect the separate refund guarantee, which continues to apply either way.
What you need to use it
A computer running Windows, and an internet connection to activate. After activation DARA runs offline indefinitely; it does not require a periodic check-in to keep working.
System requirements are published on the download page. They are part of the product description, not a separate promise: if DARA does not run on a machine that meets them, that is a fault and the refund guarantee applies.
If delivery does not arrive
Check the spam or junk folder of the address used at checkout first. If the key has still not arrived, email support@daraaudio.com from that address with the order number and we will re-send it.
Never send a full license key to anyone, including us. If we need to confirm which key is yours, the final four characters are enough.
Updates
Updates to the version line you bought are included and are delivered through DARA itself. We do not promise a particular update on a particular date, and a future major version may be a separate purchase.
When access can end
A license key stops working if the purchase is refunded or reversed, including by a chargeback, or where the purchase was fraudulent. Outside those cases a paid license is not withdrawn. An offline installation receives that status the next time it contacts the license service.
